    Five months after the mysterious murder of a Coffee County woman, people gathered Tuesday night in Douglas to remember her and to launch a community effort to make sure her case isn't forgotten. Friends

A car dealership is hitting the track for Cancer.

This Saturday at Albany Motor Speedway on US Highway 19. Nesmith Chevrolet will sponsor the Salute to American race. 

The night of racing will raise money for Breast cancer, a cause dear to the heart of the promoter.


Trisha Atkinson, Nesmith Chevrolet Late Model Promotions says, "A lot of drivers are survivors and their wives of the survivors they're fighting right now it's a very big deal out there cancer any kind of cancer awareness is a big deal at that track."

The event will end in a big fireworks show.
