Who says lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice. A home in Albany's Doublegate is hit by a bolt for the second time.

This home on Golf Course drive was struck Sunday night. It also got hit back in 2008.

The homeowner had just gotten home from visiting his family at the beach when the bolt hit the house causing a fire upstairs in a spare bedroom.

The home suffered nearly 150,000 in damage due to water and smoke.

Thankfully, the homeowners wife and two small children were at the beach during the fire.

"To get struck one time is one thing, but to get struck twice? We are wondering if there is not something up in the attic that says strike me," said Ben Barrow, the homeowners father.

He estimates it will be 3 to 4 months before the family will be able to move back into the house
