HAHIRA, GA (WALB) - Folks in Hahira showing off their patriotism.
The streets are lined with flags and the grocery stores are packed with people eager to celebrate.
Folks told us they planned to spend the day grilling out with family until tonight's fireworks show.
One customer at Harvey's says the 4th is all about supporting our troops.
"We need to show honor for our troops. They're the ones fighting for the freedoms that we have in our country. If it wasn't for them we couldn't have the enjoyments we have here," said Ronnie Southers.
The annual Lowndes County Spirit of America fireworks show begins at 9:30.
Organizers say the best location to view to the display is on the east side of I-75 around Norman Drive.
