CORDELE, GA (WALB) -
GBI agents and Cordele Police need your help finding a murderer after an early Tuesday morning shooting.
Police tell us around 12:20 Tuesday morning 39-year-old Atonzo Smith went to his back door at 508 of West 18th Avenue to speak to someone who then opened fire.
Family members inside the house ran to the back door and found Smith lying on the ground.
No witnesses have come forward and detectives have few leads.
One neighbor described the ordeal.
"I was in the bathroom and first I heard two gun shots. Then I heard three more. I ran got my phone and called 911 and said someone's been shot," Aaron Williams.
