Chehaw Park employees built this bat condominium, called Casa De Luna.
Bats are nocturnal, and sometimes they turn to people's attics for a place to roost in the daytime.
It could take the bats six months to a year to find their new home, but it couldn't be in a better spot.
"If they didn't have a home, then where would they go?" asked said Camper Sam Williamson. "Where would they go?"
It was built by folks who work at Chehaw for minimal cost. The used trees from the park and the welding shop to put the framework together. @
