COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

From Georgia State Patrol

30-year-old Rebecca Demott from Moultrie was traveling North on GA 133 Sunday morning at 3:30 when she traveled into the Southbound lane striking an oncoming semi-truck.

After being hit the semi-truck overturned and burned.

The accident happened 5 miles south of Doerun at the intersection of GA 133 and Miller Lane.

Demott was airlifted to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she died from her injuries.
