VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
Folks in Lowndes County have set up a fund where people can donate to help the family of Jacob McCook.
The 17 year old died Thursday five days after falling off the back of a truck and hitting his head. He was flown to a Tallahassee hospital where he was put on life support.
The fund for donations is set up at First Federal Savings and Loans in Valdosta.
His tentative funeral plans have been set. The viewing will be from 4-7 PM on Monday at Carson McClane Funeral home.
The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday at 11 AM at Crossroads Baptist Church in Valdosta.
