With about a month before voters cast ballots in a July 31 primary, candidates from contested local races discussed their platforms.
The forum was open to the public and a big crowd showed up to hear the candidates speak. The meeting will feature candidates in a variety of county, school board and state races.
The meeting was held at the Albany Police Department Law Enforcement Center.
Rick Allen who is running for Republican Primary for the 2nd Congressional District on July 31 also spoke at the event.
