Burglars broke into an east Albany restaurant early Saturday morning.
When the owner arrived at East China Restaurant on East Oglethorpe, he found the front glass door shattered and forced open.
The owner says the crook used a cinder block to break the glass on the door, before stealing about 60 dollars in coins and eating all of their cookies on display.
The burglar tried stealing their giant television mounted on the wall, but it appears the TV was too heavy and came crashing to the floor.
"I didn't expect this to happen because I am right next to the police station, I thought we were safe from this but obviously not," says Po Phung, East China Owner.
Albany Police are investigating the burglary. So far, no one has been arrested.
