Albany police say a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg last night about 10:00 in the vicinity of Elm Street and Whitney Avenue.
Delveckio Warren told officers he was walking in the area with two girls when they were approached by two men they didn't know.
He said the suspects pulled out weapons and all three took off running.
Several shots were fired, and Warren was struck in the leg by one of the bullets.
This case remains under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
