You now have a chance to help a south Georgia singer become the next national sensation.
John Glosson from Douglas has been performing with another Coffee County native, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, on the ABC show Duets.
Thursday night, was his first live performance. They sang a Josh Grobin song.
Of course, folks in Douglas are rooting on Glosson. The mayor says the exposure is great for the city.
"We just think it will attract people to our community and to our region which we think will be a very positive economic impact as well as social impact," says James Denis, Douglas Mayor.
It's now up to viewers to decide which contestants stay in the competition. To vote for John Glosson call 855-962-5004.
