It's never too early to get South Georgia kids thinking about their future.

The National Youth Sports Program held its first career fair today.

More than a dozen employers took part.

The kids at the summer camp, from ages eight through 16, got to talk to the employers about jobs and educational standards they need to get those jobs.

Organizers say they hope it gets the kids thinking about their future.

"Hey, I remember going to NYSP and I was looking at the Air Force.  That might be for me.  Or maybe Publix might give me a job working in their grocery store.  Maybe be assistant manager one day," said Jesse Massey, NYSP Liason Officer.

NYSP leaders say they hope the career day will give the kids a jump start toward setting high goals for their future.
