DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -

Thanks to some of you, A Dougherty County man was arrested today, accused of robbing a South Dougherty convenience store last month.

34 year old Terry Sams is charged with armed robbery and gun violations.

Investigators say this is surveillance video of Sams, as he robbed the Flash Foods in the 23-hundred block of the Liberty Expressway May 29th.

The robber told the clerk he had a gun and got away with cash.

Detectives say tips from our viewers who saw this video helped lead them to Sams.

"If it wasn't for that surveillance video, this case probably would not have been solved", said Dougherty County Detective Chad Kirkpatrick.  "Due to the surveillance video we were able to solve it and arrest Sams."

Police say Sams lives less than a mile from that Flash Foods. He is in the Dougherty County jail. Copyright 2012 WALB.  All rights reserved.
