Business, Civic and Community leaders attended the event at Double Gate Country Club. 23-year-old SGT. Andrew Barrett won Non Commissioned Officer of the Quarter for the Marine Core Logistics Command. 21-year-old Eric Barnes was named Marine of the Quarter. While 25-year-old CPL. Edward Peifer was named NCO of the Quarter for MCLB.

The Chamber of Commerce has held this special service for more than 15 years.

"We owe so much to our service men and women who protect our freedoms. And we just can't recognize them enough," said Chairman Leland Burkeart of the Military Affairs Committee.

"It's a great opportunity to be recognized in front of the community that we do so much to support," said CPL. Edward Peifer.

The winners were selected because of different military skills like Physical Fitness and Marksmanship scores.
