The first ever Southwest Georgia music and arts festival planned for this fall is already expanding.

Organizers say they're now partnering with Flint Fest to bring an entire week of music and arts.

The plan is to start with Flint Fest on Friday and Saturday, then have other events through the following week at various venues, wrapping up with the first ever SOWEGA fest.

"We're trying to get the biggest and best within our budget and the names will be very apparent as we release them. But until I contract them I can't legally release them because they're not bound to me," said organizer, Sam Shugart.

Organizers plan to bring in groups from all over to play blues, country, rock, gospel, and bluegrass.

The festivals are planned for October.  And different ticket packages will be available.
