Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
GBI officials have arrested a Turner County woman for abusing her three-year-old child.
23-year-old Rebbecca Narron was arrested Monday, and is charged with two counts of first degree child abuse.
Her boyfriend, 24-year-old Justin Shaner was also arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault, and aggravated battery and first degree child abuse.
On April 3rd the GBI was asked to assist the Turner County Sheriff's Office with the child abuse investigation.
"The injuries are severe to the child. And we took the investigation very seriously, the child was safe so we pursued the investigation as thoroughly as possible before bringing these charges to make sure that they stick," said GBI agent, Gary Rothwell.
GBI officials say a three year-old was air-lifted to a hospital in Atlanta with severe head injuries and signs of physical abuse.
Authorities say the child is recovering but did not know the child's current condition.
