The Marine Depot Maintenance Command earns the Manufacturer of the Year award from Albany Technical College.

The Maintenance Center was nominated for the state award in the Large Industry Category. It didn't win, but Albany Tech still recognized it as our local winner. The center commander says it's an honor to partner with Albany Tech.

"Which is to maintain repair and overhaul Marine Corps ground combat equipment, so that partnership is extremely essential for us and to us and so its great to be recognized today by the community and by the college," says Col. Stephen A. MedeirosMarine Depot Maintenance Command.

This is not the first time the Marine Maintenance Command has received this award. It also won in 2009 and last year.
