DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -
Douglas Police are searching for gunmen after a wild shootout in a neighborhood that injured at least one innocent bystander.
We're told two men got into a fight near 21st Century Apartments off Alderman Road Friday afternoon.
Investigators aren't saying much right now, but witnesses tell us guns were pulled and shots were fired as one man chased the other.
A woman inside an apartment was shot in the leg by a stray bullet. Dionta Sullivan was in the home with her at the time. He said, "It's real crazy how she got shot cause it bounced off of a wooden chair then hit her in the leg. It ricocheted."
Another man was shot in the toe. Both were taken to the hospital and are expected to be fine.
Douglas Police are still trying to sort out exactly what happened and who was involved.
