TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

A group gathered outside the Plant Broadcasting building in Tifton singing songs, praying and reflecting over this week's events, when the Christian radio station's van and expensive production equipment was stolen.

Fallon Lucas says, "Oh I love it, my kids have found God through this station. It is just a wonderful thing to have in the community."

Jennifer Manning says, "Well I was shocked first and foremost, because the station has done so much for the community and they helped so many people."

A vigil was held tonight to reflect upon the events that took place...as well as thank the community for their support.

Eric Hatcher says "But just the outpouring of the community to help us, today was our first day of running full schedule we got back up and going."

And although the van was found, a sense of disappointment still lingers.

Lucas says, "They need prayer for them also not only for the station but for the people that took that stuff . I couldn't believe it that right here in the middle of town and no one would have seen the Hook FM truck flying through town.

Manning says, "You would think that it would be kind of off limits, but look at what people are doing to churches stealing air conditioners."

But the station and its supporters have a simple request to the suspects...

Nettie Hatcher says, "We would love to have the equipment back but there are some things that are irreplaceable that we would love to have back."

Eric Hatcher says, "Just bring our stuff back, you know drop it off anonymously somewhere call the anonymous hotline with the Tifton Police, it fine we just want our stuff back."

So they can continue to inspire those who hear their broadcasts.
