Albany Panthers head coach Lucious Davis says he will wait until pre-game Saturday to decide who will start at quarterback in the PIFL semifinal game against the Columbus Lions.
Davis says starter Cecil Lester is unable to practice this week after he aggravated a knee injury two weeks ago.
If Lester cannot go, Darnell Kennedy likely gets the start.
Davis says he will work out both quarterbacks as well as Chris Mitchell before Saturday's game before making the big decision.
Lucious Davis said. "I have until two hours before game time to make my decision. I will have all three quarterbacks come out throw the ball. Make my decision on which two will play."
The answer to who will start at quarterback comes 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Albany Civic Center.
