Lowndes Summer Tournament underway

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

The summer high school baseball season is coming to a close.

Lowndes High is hosting their annual summer Diamond Baseball Brawl.

The host Lowndes I team defeated Lee County 7-3 in the first game at Noel George Field. Thursday.

Valdosta, Brooks County, Lanier County, Valwood and Cook High are also hosting games in the tournament through Saturday.
