Georgia Southwestern star Phillip Brown is not waiting for the NBA draft.

The 2011 Peach Belt Conference player of the year has signed to play for a team in the French National 2 League.

He will report to his team in Augusta.

Brown is the first player in GSW history to earn NCAA All-American honors his junior year.

The transfer from the Air Force Academy missed the second half of his senior season with a knee injury.
