COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) -
Sunbelt Expo officials are getting ready for one of the largest farm shows in North America, and they're doing so with a new Farm Manager.
Michael Chafin took the position in November.
Darrell Williams was the farm manager for more than 25 years before passing the title to his son, Michael Williams, who held the title for about 5 years.
Chafin says he is excited about his job which is an agricultural dream.
"I am very passionate about the agriculture profession, I was raised on a family farm, been farming all my life, and this is the dream farming operation to be able to come here and do research to be able to progress our industry," says Mike Chafin\Farm Manager.
The Expo's annual field day will be held July 12th.
Farmers will get a preview of some of the latest technology and crops they'll see this October at the Sunbelt Ag Expo.
