MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -
Colquitt Regional Medical Center will soon break ground on a new rehabilitation center. The 13,000 square foot center will house physical, occupational, speech, aquatic, and wound therapy rehab.
Currently, rehabilitation services are located within the hospital in a 2,500 square foot area. The new facility will handle the growth and provide more room for patient access.
"Currently we have got people waiting, sometimes in the hallway to get in for it, and this will allow a bigger gym type setting where we can actually take care of more patients at the same time," says Jim Matney, Colquitt Regional Medical Center CEO.
They will break ground on the new building on June 25th.
