THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Vehicles that run on alternative fuel are being showcased in South Georgia Tuesday evening.
The 2nd annual Alternative Fueled Vehicle Roadshow is stopping in six cities around Georgia.
The show is on Highway 319 near the Georgia/Florida line demonstrating vehicles that run on natural gas, electricity, and other non-oil resources.
"We're honored that they picked Thomasville as a stop. Getting into compressed natural gas is something we're familiar with. We're getting into that ourselves with our solid waste fleet and we're happy that they chose us to showcase," said City of Thomasville Marketing Manager Sheryl Sealy.
The Roadshow continues it's tour tomorrow morning in Dublin.
