Wig-wearing bank robbers headed to prison

Posted: Updated:

Surveillance photos from a bank robbery in Douglas showed two guys in wigs as they stuck up the Southeastern Bank in November 2011.

They are cousins Tony and Olajawonne Webb, also known as Tater. Tony Webb jumped the counter, then shoved one teller against a wall, and pushed another to the ground.

Tater held them all at gunpoint. The cousins actually got away with about $13,000.

They were caught in Florida in January and Tater plead guilty and testified against Tony.

A jury convicted Tony Webb last week. Both robbers face up to 45 years in prison.
