MILLER CO., GA (WALB) -

A crash in front of Mitchell County High School late this afternoon dumped tons of corn into a ditch.

The driver said his steering wheel locked up on Newton Road in Camilla. He jerked it and lost control of his 18 wheeler. It overturned and left a thousands of ears of corn behind.

Police kept one lane open and directed traffic through the area, as volunteers unloaded the remaining corn so a wrecker crew could remove the truck.
