Teachers and parents have new resources to help kids deal with major issues such as bullying, depression, and obesity. Now kids and educators have the power to make a difference. Officials with Phoebe's Network of Trust highlighted those resources at a special luncheon Wednesday.More >>
A group of men in Albany recognized the absence of father figures in the community and decided to do something about this Father's Day.
Sunday, they held a community program to mentor boys who grow up without male leaders to inspire them.
They celebrated the father's who are present in their child's life, but also supported the kids in the community who don't have that father figure.
Successful men in the community came out and spoke to the kids about how to grow up to be productive adults.
"Respect, second of all education, third of all, don't end up in the system," says Kendell Crawford\Event Organizer.
"Kids just want to be loved, they want to learn from you, they want to be around you," says Kalynn Zackery\Father.
