TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

The Southeastern Raptor Center and the Georgia Wildlife Resources Division is releasing a rehabilitated bald eagle at Paradise Public Fishing Area near Tifton at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The public is invited to watch the release and learn more about these iconic raptors.

Paradise staff spotted and caught the injured 2- to 3-year-old eagle at the PFA on March 2.

A wildlife rehabilitator transferred the bird to the Southeastern Raptor Center, part of Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine.

The eagle will be released at the picnic area across from Paradise PFA offices.
