Judge candidate opens headquarters

Posted: Updated:

A candidate for Dougherty County State Court opened his campaign headquarters Friday night. Christopher Warren gathered with supporters at his new office on Gillionville Road.

He says being a good judge involves more than making good decisions on the bench. Warren said, "I'm going to be fair and impartial inside the courtroom, but I'm going to be very visible and very active outside the courtroom as well because I want to help make a difference in the young peoples' lives of Dougherty County."

Warren is an attorney, an Albany State professor, and a former Marine.

He's running against Magistrate Judge Victoria Darrisaw for the seat being vacated by retiring Judge John Salter.
