Albany Panthers close out the regular season on the road Saturday at Richmond.
A look at the standings and this battle between first and second in the PIFL would appear to be a big game.
But with the Panthers having already clinched the top seed for the playoffs, it is a chance to sit and rest quarterback Cecil Lester for the playoffs next week.
That means Darnell Kennedy will make his second start of the season.
Kennedy, who was the quarterback for the South Georgia Wildcats, wants to send the Panthers into the playoffs with some positive momentum.
Darnell Kennedy said. "It feels pretty good to come out. Be back in Albany. See a lot of familiar faces, a familiar offense. I just want to go out and help this team win."
Coach Lucious Davis says Cecil Lester should be back for next week's playoff game against either Columbus or Louisiana.
Davis also expects to rest some starters during Saturday's game at Richmond.
