
San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is now in line to start his first All-Star game.
Posey has passed St. Louis' Yadier Molina in the balloting to see who starts at catcher for the National League at the all-star game next month in Kansas City.
Posey now has over one point seven million votes.
He leads Molina by 130 thousand votes.
Braves Dan Uggla still leads in the voting for second base.
Voting for the all-star game will end on June 28th.
