Auburn shooting suspect in custody - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

The man accused of murdering a former south Georgia star football player and two other men in Auburn, AL is in custody tonight. 

22 year-old Desmonte Leonard surrendered at the Federal Courthouse in Montgomery tonight. He had been on the run since a shooting Saturday night at an apartment complex near the Auburn University campus. 

Three people were killed and three others were injured. One of those killed was Ed Christian, a former Auburn football player who played at Lowndes High School.
