TIFTON, GA (WALB) -
We are just weeks away from the grand opening of the new Publix Supermarket in Tifton.
Work at the new Publix is still underway but it's coming along nicely as workers look to put the finishing touches on the new building.
City officials tell us the supermarket should open sometime in Early July.
The retail chain TJ Maxx is also coming to Tifton. That store is expected to open August.
