School is out for the summer but that doesn't mean girl's high school basketball players can't get some good workouts in over the lay off. Darton is hosting its annual high school team basketball camp this weekend. 18 schools from all over the state are in Albany taking part.
It's a good chance for some schools to face some different competition and to hone those skills during the off season. It's also a good chance for area 2 year schools to get a look at some possible recruits. Darton head basketball coach Lea Henry says its win win situation for everyone involved.
Henry "Just get some quality competition. We have a very diverse group here I think they are from all over the region and they're getting three games a day and really having a great time."
The camp will run through Sunday.
