CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

A Camilla woman's amazing singing skills got her a ticket to Las Vegas where she could win $10,000 dollars.

Scarlette Wimbley entered a singing contest on the Steve Harvey Morning show and recently found out she's one of four finalists chosen to perform at the "National Hoodie Awards" in Las Vegas.

She says she's entered other contests before but nothing this big."I haven't really had time to get excited because my mom and my fiancé are more excited than me but as time progresses its beginning to sink in that I'm actually going to sing in Vegas in front of 20,000 people," said Scarlette Wimberly, Finalist.

The show is on August 1st through the 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

If she wins the $10,000 she plans to put it in savings and toward her daughter's college education.
