ALBANY (WALB) - An Albany woman is hospitalized with serious cuts that police say she got when she bashed in windows.
Police say the woman will be charged for breaking the windows of her boyfriend's home and car.
There was so much blood splattered on Burke Avenue, the fire department had to wash down the street.
It all came from the arms of Stacy Medlock following an argument with her boyfriend.
"For some unknown reason she became very irate broke out a couple of windows, the front window to the home and windows to a black suburban," said APD Media Manager Phyllis Banks.
Some of the glass was broken with a brick. The rest, neighbors say, was done with her fist. But with all the broken glass, Medlock seriously cut her arms during the tirade.
"She sustained lacerations to her arms and is currently in surgery," Banks said.
This all happened around noon Tuesday as neighbors looked on.
There were a lot of folks around who were wowed by the incident," Banks said.
One neighbor told me the woman was trying to get her belongings from her boyfriend. When he locked the door to the home, she tried to get in herself. When she failed to get in the house, she went for the Chevy Suburban.
Blood was pouring from her arms, witnesses say, when paramedics arrived.
Police also interviewed Medlocks boyfriend. They have not said what charges she's facing
Neighbors tell us she was set to join the Army next week.
