DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -

The Dougherty County Police Department's phones were knocked out for a brief period Tuesday. 

Call were re-routed the Albany 911 center. 

Their back up number, 229-894-6163, was also used.

But the problem was corrected a short time later, and the normal numbers are back in service.
