VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
A Valdosta man was released from jail in India Monday after he was arrested when hunting ammunition was found in his luggage at an airport.
Jeff Worn was in India on business for South Georgia Pecan.
He says he didn't realize the ammunition was still in his bag from a previous hunting trip.
Worn posted bail today but must stay in India for 30 days until a court hearing.
His family and some elected officials are working to get him back home to south Georgia.
