
The contract extension for Georgia football coach Mark Richt is still being finalized.
Athletic director Greg McGarity told the UGA athletic association board of directors the potential for performance bonuses in the extension double to a maximum of 800-thousand dollars years.
The bonuses includes appearing in the SEC championship game, BCS national title game, BCS non-championship bowl games, finishing in the top five in the national polls and academic performance bonus.
The three year contract extension will keep Mark Richt under contract through the 2016 season when it is completed and signed.
