Darton College baseball coach Scot Hemmings is building off his successful first season with the Cavaliers.
Darton has landed one of the top pitchers in south Georgia.
Crisp County ace Davis Adkins signed to pitch for the Cavaliers.
Adkins won 9 games and had an earned run average under one this season for a Cougar team that went unbeaten in the regular season.
Adkins posted 20 wins during his Cougar career and is looking forward to facing tougher hitters next year at Darton.
Davis Adkins said. "It is going to be a different ballgame. I am going to face a lot more talent. It is going to be something I have to change and adapt to."
