The Fourth of July is right around the corner and city officials are getting ready for their major Fourth of July celebration. They are now taking applications for vendors. It's the largest fireworks show in south Georgia with up to 50,000 people who show up the 45 minute show.

They will be down at the Riverfront near the Civic Center..and officials encourage those wanting to be a vendor to get their applications in as soon as possible

"Normally we turn people away so if you are interested in being a vendor whether it is for merchandise or food to contact parks and recreation as soon as possible so we get you in by the deadline," said Suzanne Davis, Director of Recreation and Parks.

She says every year they change up the show somehow, so if you decide to watch you are guaranteed to see something new.
