A uniform business that has been open for several months finally held a grand opening celebration today.

Company leaders with UniFirst along with local officials held a ribbon cutting today.

UniFirst opened up in January but decided to wait until they were at full production for the opening.

The company primarily makes uniforms but they also produce other custom products for nearly 4,000 customers ranging from M&M-Mars to Coca Cola.

They say their state of the art uniform tracking system helps save customers money.

"We are able to provide a higher quality product to the customer a higher quality finish and it really separates us and gives us that added value most companies don't have when it comes to their work apparel," said Chris Ethridge, General Manager of UniFirst Corporation.

So far the company has put nearly 150 people to work and by this time next year they are hoping to have twice the number employees.
