THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia church hopes to bring a community together Saturday morning.
St. Luke CME Church in Thomasville is hosting "Come Together Day" at NorthSide Park.
There will be free food, music, entertainment, and inspirational words from various area churches.
"We are looking at having the concept of a hometown playground so that we can create the sense again of community and involvement," said Pastor Anthony Choice.
The church will also have a "Manna Drop" where folks can bring canned food for families in need.
