Albany State head coach Chris Cameron cannot wait for the college basketball season to start in the fall.
Cameron has signed one of his best recruiting classes this spring.
It started when the Rams signed one of the best point guards in the state in Thomasville High's Trey Gosier.
Since then the Rams have added transfers Jerome Hamilton from Connor State, Shaquille Harris from Mercer and Antoine Brown from Clinton Community College in Iowa.
While all three of these transfers played their high school basketball in south Georgia, what is even better is the athletic ability all four of these new Rams possess.
Chris Cameron said. "I think the guys that we are bringing in. Shaquille Harris can really shoot the ball but he is very athletic. Likes to get to the basket. Play above the rim. Those were some of the things we were looking for."
Coach Cameron also says the deadline for the ASU summer league is May 24th.
His annual high school team camp is June 15-17.
The individual camp is July 9-13.
