An Albany businesswoman is honored by the state and Southeastern United States for her success.
Central Monitoring owner Judy Randle received awards for her commitment to promoting women in business ownership.
She founded Central Monitoring in 1984 and it now has 30 employees monitoring 14,000 homes and businesses. She says that it's especially important to have someone from our area win the award.
"A lot of times when we go to these events a lot of the awards are going to Atlanta businesses and it's great to see some of that recognition come to Albany and our area here, where we're doing good work too," she said.
Randle is also a former chair of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. She says that one of the keys to growing any business is to network and market.
