Phillip Phillips touches down in Albany

It was insanity outside Southwest Georgia Regional Airport as crowds went crazy for their Hometown Crooner. Phillip Phillips is home and fans and friends of all ages are Excited to see him.

Jilian HAnna says, "I just want to see Phillip and get his autograph."

Blythe Gunter says, "We are going to Cheer and we are going to yell." 

Sara Short says, "We are just so excited!"

Blakely Brown says, "I can just cry I'm so excited for Phillip." 

A private jet landed a couple of hours ahead of schedule tonight with Phillips, his family and entourage on hand.

Crowds broke into full sprints to catch a glimpse of the plane everyone has been waiting. 

Rachel Lane says "We got here just in time we were expecting him to get here around ten." 

Classmates say they couldn't think of any other person more deserving of the praise.
 
Blakely Brown says,"I honestly cant think of anyone else so deserving."

As one of the final three on American Idol, Phillips has come a long way through the competition And fans hope he feels the love and support from his hometown.

"Its so exciting that he has made it to the top three."

Rachel Lane says,"I mean I just hope that he knows that we are all behind him that we have been supporting him since day one and I can't think of anyone more deserving." 

As the city gears up in full force for the big day tomorrow.
