Goodwill Industries is highlighting the work it does to help people in South Georgia. Goodwill of Southern Rivers is holding events each day as part of Goodwill Week.
They kicked off the week with Phillip Phillips' parents donating an autographed photo of the American Idolcontestant. Phillip's father says he's happy to help Goodwill.
"It is such a wonderful organization that helps a lot of needy people in different ways," says Phillip "Donnie" Phillips, Sr., Phillip's Father.
"What is interesting about Phillip is he is a very humble young man, and that is kind of like the Goodwill family, and so we want to offer the Phillips family to be apart of our family," says Mitch GrossmanGoodwill Operations VP.
Phillip will wear this Goodwill T-shirt during rehearsals this week. When you donate to Goodwill this week, you can enter to win his autographed picture. The drawing will be held Friday.
If Phillip makes it into the final three on American Idol this week, there will be a big homecoming for him that will be featured on the show.
