Darton comes up short of #2 seed - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

The Darton baseball failed to complete a sweep of Georgia Perimeter and will now enter the GCAA Tournament as the #3 seed.  The Cavs scored an emotional win in game one of Saturday's double header 9-3.  Darton scored 6 runs in the 6th inning when both benches cleared after a minor dispute between two players.

The Cavs were unable to get the bats going in game 2 and lost 7-1. Darton finishes the regular season with a 21-11 conference record and 36-19 overall.
