Leaders in our area say they'll continue with their traditions until they're instructed otherwise.

South Georgians continue to show their support for Phillip Phillips. Family members held a yard sale outside Albany Pawn to benefit the Phillips family.

They raised money to help the Phillips family afford trips to Hollywood to cheer on Phillip. Autographed photos and T-shirts were for sale.

"A lot of the community has just rallied together around Phillip and his family, and gotten together with the donations, and just really produced a lot of merchandise," says Cecilia Rentz, Phillip's Cousin/ Goodwill Store Manager.

All the proceeds from the yard sale went to the Phillips Family. Everything that was left over was donated to Goodwill.
